We lived above Twilight Canyon, but the focus of this book is the sister valley, Sweetwater Canyon, and every time I see a picture of that mountain area or think about it, the tears flow. Itinerant wanderers and thoughtful individuals sought spiritual solace and inspiration from Cheyenne Mountain’s numerous hillsides, waterfalls, and various winding canyons, such as Cheyenne, Twilight, and Sweetwater, as well as other canyons in the area.
