Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a former teacher who specialised in English and History. I had my first novel titled Carenza’s Journey published in 2013. My chosen genre is historical family sagas. Since then I have had 3 further novels published – Carenza’s Heirs (the sequel to my first novel); The Secrets of Westborough Hall and the Devine Girls published in December 2017 (the sequel to Westborough Hall).
I am writing my 5th novel which will be a completely new story.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My 4th novel – The Devine Girls – was largely inspired by the number of people who had read Westborough Hall and wanted to know the next chapter in the family story.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write around my very busy life.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Historical and thrillers.
Barbara Taylor Bradford

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
i have a website but face to face meet the author sessions are the most stimulating and productive.
Do you have any advice for new authors?

Getting published is very difficult and marketing and publicity even harder.

Have confidence in your writing ability.
What are you reading now?
Contemporary and historical novels.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Getting book 5 published.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Books I could read and re-read – possibly peter Robinson and Ann Cleave novels.
