About Forgotten Erf by Layton Bushel
A mild science fiction novel, with a little humour.
An inventor tries to build a time machine in his garage.
He falls into it accidentally, whilst trying to avoid his aggressive wife. It sends him to an Earth-like planet, in a forgotten universe, with no chance of getting back.
Other humans are there too. They make the most of the limited resources they find there, to try to improve their lives.
Some discover ancient, highly-advanced technology built into the planet, mostly hidden from the planet’s inhabitants.
The planet is looked after by a friendly, technically-minded Neanderthal, who knows a lot more than he’s letting on.
This is not meant to be an ‘action-packed’ adventure, so it’s not, however I hope readers will find it interesting, and sometimes amusing.
