Diane Lane Chambers, a professional sign language interpreter for 46 years, currently specializes in medical and behavioral health settings. Active in the National League of American Pen Women, she has served for several terms as the Denver branch president and vice president. Diane is the author of three memoirs: Words in My Hands: A Teacher, A Deaf-Blind Man, An Unforgettable Journey, Hearing the Stream: A Survivor’s Journey into the Sisterhood of Breast Cancer , and Fragile Minds: An Advocate’s Story. She lives in the Colorado mountains.
