About Freda’s Flight
Although Megan feels sad and upset at the death of her cherished cat Freda, she finds comfort through support of her family and friends. The funeral prompts a touching discussion and glorious images of heaven. So Megan realizes that though she will miss her, Freda is happy in heaven and they will be together again someday. Though this is a children’s picture book, both children and adults can find hope and comfort in their grief when a pet or loved one dies.
