About Gabriel’s Call
When Dr. Charles Hemphill is called upon to assist in the treatment of a woman who appears to be profoundly disturbed, he finds her complex case baffling. Her refusal to talk with any of the other doctors is broken when he arrives. Questioning his mysterious patient with the question, “Why do you think you are here?”, she replies with a mysterious answer: “I’m here for you, Charlie.”
This portrait of circumstances that test both Dr. Hemphill’s faith and his understanding of science builds to a dramatic conclusion that will reveal the true nature of his patient’s condition and forever change his life.

Author Bio:
Anne Fox lives in El Paso, where she is assisted in her writing by two Maine Coon cats and an alley cat. This, her first book, was inspired by a dream. She has continued her writing with a series focusing on something completely different: crime and suspense. She currently has twenty-two books in publication.
When not writing, Anne enjoys various crafts, gardening, rockhounding, traveling, and competitive marksmanship. She also holds a commercial pilot’s license and spent fifteen years as a flight instructor. She holds an Associate’s degree in music as well as a Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry.
Anne spent four and a half years in Japan in the company of her husband while he served in the US Army. Traveling and exploring that interesting country involved everything from learning the bus and train systems to getting used to driving on the opposite side of the road. While there, she also had the opportunity to visit South Korea, Hong Kong, and mainland China.
She enjoys her life in El Paso, willing to put up with the summer heat in exchange for the city’s diverse population and a copious dose of sunshine afforded by the city’s desert climate. Her frequent forays into the desert for pretty rocks and her exploration of the surrounding areas that include White Sands National Park, Roswell, New Mexico (infamous for its “1947 “flying saucer crash” but notable also for its fascinating Cold War history), Carlsbad Caverns, and numerous surrounding ghost towns always seem to turn up yet something interesting and new that she hadn’t noticed before.
Not surprisingly, she also loves foxes.
