Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have two awesome children, Aprell and Wilson and one grandson Christopher. I have traveled the US and Israel repeatedly. My employment history: AT&T as project manager for 25 years. Realtor for 8 years. Pastor for the last 10 years. In my Spiritual duties, I have worked street ministries from Alexandra Virginia to Trenton, New Jersey (1989-1997) blocking off city streets to preach the gospel to a dying world and working towards a safe place to dwell in. I worked with teens teaching abstinence which is proven to be 100% in preventing pregnancy, also included methods for safe sex – the program was extraordinarily successful. Leader of prayer groups, counselor and online teaching and preaching. I am author of, “The Prayer” and co-author of “Prayer Stations.” The Prayer Stations derived out of a prayer meeting I spear headed in 2002. The Prayer Stations is not just a book, it is a vision – where the one praying can go to stations and experience focused intercession – focal points are concerns for humanity and keep you focused while praying. This is a powerful vision that we are experiencing and evolved into the book “The Prayer.”
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Prayer, inspired by my first book Prayer Stations. I wanted written prayers for my prayer closet to pray in conjunction with the Prayer Stations banners hanging throughout my house. There are 12 banners: Praise and Worship, Family, Children, Finance, Healing, Binding Satan, Leadership, Unity, Prisoners, Bondage, Addiction and Salvation. At the Salvation banner you can lead a soul to Christ without a bible, all the necessary scriptures are written to aid the process. This is the only banner without focal points.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Yes, any time after 2:00a.m.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I have read countless books on prayer in the past 42 years. However, I had a pastor who was a woman of prayer who inspired me to pray – I never knew of any one to pray for hours like she did. She prayed me straight when I was in the church for formality. So, I was in the church, but the church was not in me. I was doing everything I was big enough to do and thought no one notice. When I was 24 years old, I came under the leadership of this praying woman and her praying for me changed my life and inspired me to pray to change others. The Apostle Paul write in Galatians 4:19, “My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ is formed in you.” We cannot come to Christ unless God draws us. This woman prayed until Christ was formed in me. Books that inspired me most: Andrew Murray “Christ in the School of Prayer, Frank and Ida Mae Hamond, I read all of their books/pamphlets. Having a Doctorate in Theology, I have many books that have stirred my thoughts on Chrisianityt
