Get Out of Your Own Way by Kori McClurg
Get Out of Your Own Way challenges the diet industry’s conventional wisdom, offering a fresh perspective on weight, health, and mindset. Authoritative yet approachable, this book argues that willpower alone is not the answer to long-term health. Instead, it delves into the psychological and emotional aspects of change, exploring how our thoughts shape our habits.
With peer-reviewed nutrition research as its backbone, the book helps readers understand how their brains work, master their thoughts, and redefine what truly healthy eating means. By shifting focus from restriction and shame to empowerment and understanding, Get Out of Your Own Way provides a roadmap to reclaiming both physical and mental well-being—unlocking the potential to live a fuller, more powerful life.
