Author Bio:
Dan Adkins has worked on Saturday Night Live, over 40 feature films (including Academy Award Winners As Good As It Gets and Malcolm X), and 12 Broadway shows. After attaining his MBA and working in the corporate world, Dan worked as an actor, a producer, a composer a costumer and costume supervisor.
He has been an executive for a Fortune 200 corporation and consulted with the largest privately-held medical device company in the world, one of the largest 3rd-party logistics companies in the U.S. and the market leader in acoustical control products for music studios.
Dan’s interests have varied, including the London Marathon (his knees haven’t recovered yet), playing keyboards in a Nashville cover band (with a group of great song-writers) and warping young minds as an adjunct professor of marketing at Belmont University and as a consultant to The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
Currently, through his company, Strategystix, Dan is valued as a coach and consultant who collaborates to help young businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals to get unstuck in their lives or professions.
He is appreciated for his humorous interaction and his always positive mindset. He loves to make people laugh while he makes them think.
