Interview With Author Gilbert Simukanga
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a Quantity Surveyor, Creative Writer, Sound Producer, Bleach Artist and Poet of Zambian Nationality, and I was born in November in the year 1996. I have a Professional bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying and professional certificate in Intellectual Property Law. I am a Published Author with three (3no.) books to my name entitled; “Hostile Takeover”, “Grey Matters” and “The Smart Study Blueprint”.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is “The Smart Study Blueprint” and it was inspired by the study struggles I faced back when I was in university. I wrote it to help students study effectively.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write best at midnight

Dan Brown, James Hardley Chase, James Allen, Napoleon Hill and Patricia Cornwell
What are you working on now?
I’m Currently Working on a Poetry Chapbook.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I haven’t found a best yet, still trying out things.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
I am a new author myself but all I can say is keep writing and marketing, don’t stop.

If you’re an author, don’t stop writing

What’s next for you as a writer?
More writing, and maybe trying to turn my book into a movie
