Author Bio:
Lauren Kingsland is a lifelong quilt artist, author, and teacher focusing on the intersection of art, healing and mindfulness. She is an original Artist-in-Residence with the groundbreaking Georgetown Lombardi Arts & Humanities program. Through in-person and online classes she inspires students to use hands-on creativity to express their own stories. Her classic book, The Extraordinary T-Shirt Quilt: The Scrapbook You Can Sleep Under, has guided hundreds of quilters, and non-quilters, to create their own legacy projects. She loves singing and the art of conversation, and is studying collage. After a long career in Maryland she has returned to Colorado to live near her family.
