Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am an avid learner and researcher of many topics but particular in Health. I live wherever the wind blows gaining experience and knowledge to share with people like you. Health & Not Screwing It Up Is my 1st book. I have more projects to come.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Health & Not Screwing It Up is my 1st and latest book. The paperback will be out soon. I just wanted to give people easy and simple suggestions that I have learned throughout the years about overall health and have worked for myself as well as other people.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Something Intriguingly Awkward, of course!
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I have been reading James Michener’s books on and off for the past few years. Plus whatever is in the “free” book pile at libraries. The most recent book that has influenced me on the health genre is Dr. Michael Greger’s How Not To Die.
What are you working on now?
My next project and something intriguingly awkward.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I haven’t developed a structured method yet, so I am playing the field still. No no, I will say the whimsical, awkward yet militant method. Yea we will go with that.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Educate yourself, make mistakes, learn from those mistakes and don’t have that I will do it “one day” mindset. One day is not a day of the week, silly.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
I will quote some people to answer this question:
“Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend”
-Bruce Lee
“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”
-Lao Tzu
“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win”
-Gandhi
I could keep going, but you get the point.
What are you reading now?
I am reading Poland by James Michener and How Not To Die by Dr. Michael Greger.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Keep growing, learning and provide people more awkward material to enjoy.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
I can’t think of exact titles but I would take books with these subject matters: a survival type book, an herbal remedy book and a book identifying plants.
