About HEZEKIAH Many Houses, One Life by Pat Lindsay Fletcher
This is a saga of three generations of the Lindsay family that migrated to Panama in 1905 on contract to build the Panama canal and survived the ordeal to return to their homeland, Jamaica. There, Hezekiah, my paternal grandfather, nursed a broken heart and wounds inflicted by the system of segregation that prevailed in the canal zone. While his determination to succeed resulted in the creation of a multi-million dollar estate, this obsession resulted in a family divided by favoritism and a legacy that evaporated in three generations as a result. Both editions of the book, paperback and eBook have been discounted by 25% until Jan 31, 2022.

Author Bio:
I left a fledgling career in Social Work, after graduating from university and spent over thirty years in the financial sector, first as a successful life insurance sales representative and later as a commercial insurance broker upon migrating to Toronto, Canada. in 1987. I had journaled all my adult life. However it wasn’t till 2018 when I accepted a job as the driver of a seventy two seater school bus, in Whitby, Ontario, that the writing muse surfaced. Through a flood of childhood memories I was transported to the days and lifestyle I enjoyed of the rich and famous as the granddaughter of this Jamaican tycoon of the passenger transportation industry, Hezekiah, Joseph Gerson Lindsay, whom I had never met. I am currently living in Brantford, Ontario with my mother, Daphne whose photo is on the right side of the front cover at age twenty years old and meeting Hezekiah for the first time after she started dating his son.
