About I Want Out by Eric Dennis
A book to help those who have gone no contact from their toxic family recently, or are about to take the big step, make the transition easier, and let go of negative emotions and reach recovery faster.
Written by a clinical psychologist, awarded writer and former victim of narcissistic abuse, it offers an inside look into the narcissists’ motivations and way of thinking, advice on how to break the trauma bond and tackle the most common mental traps set by narcissistic manipulation, how to deal with the FOG (fear obligation guilt) in the aftermath, and a series of exercises to help you recover control of your life and find happiness.
The book is structured as a guide to help people who are under the pressing circumstances of no contact, but it can also be read as an educational work on narcissism; information YOU need – because they are everywhere…

Author Bio:
I’m a clinical psychologist, awarded writer and former victim of narcissistic abuse. I share my experience both as a psychologist and former prey of narcissists, in order to help other victims escape from their own situations of abuse, recover mental and physically, and regain control over their lives. It is my belief that narcissistic personality disorder is the biggest unspoken pandemic of our times, and increasing awareness on it and helping eradicate it could have a massive benefiting effect over lots of the many problems that currently burden our troubled world. My hope is that my first hand knowledge of the horrors of narcissistic abuse, a knowledge I never asked for to begin with, can now benefit other people who find themselves in that same predicament, turning sadness into smiles.
