About In the Same Place by Mia. MP
In the Same Place is an empowering poetry and photography collection exploring identity, migration, and the search for home. Through intimate verse and evocative imagery, it captures the emotional complexity of leaving one place behind and learning to build another; from the roots of childhood to the struggle of beginning again far from where you started.
This collection speaks deeply and honestly to anyone navigating displacement, distance, or the quiet work of healing. It invites readers to trace their paths, reflect on their stories, and discover that sometimes, home isn’t something we find, it’s something we create.
“Before we arrive anywhere, we walk through ourselves first.”
