Author Bio:
Tracie Ingersoll Loy grew up in the suburbs of Seattle, Washington and had the occasional summer to spend time in the San Juan Islands of Washington State. During the low tides, she and her cousins tried to master the art of geoduck (pronounced goo-e-duck) digging. Once you’ve mastered geoduck digging, you can master anything! Get ready to be covered in mud, laughing the entire time. In later times, Tracie and her friends occasionally had the joy of traipsing around the San Juan Islands and sometimes sailing into the Gulf Islands of British Columbia. The idyllic setting and essence of the islands captured her heart where she saw mystery, intrigue and romance, creating the Hartz Island series.
Currently Tracie and her family live in Northern Illinois where she enjoys walking the dogs and volunteers picking up litter at their local state park. The dogs are happy and so are future campers.
