Bill LeFurgy is a historian and archivist with a passion for uncovering the gilded glamour and gritty secrets of urban life. Drawing on years of research and a deep love for Baltimore—where he lived for over a decade—he crafts immersive historical mysteries that blend suspense, rich period detail, and unforgettable characters.
Before turning to fiction, Bill led national efforts to preserve digital cultural heritage at the Library of Congress, speaking worldwide to libraries, archives, and museums. He also served as Baltimore City Archivist and worked at the National Archives and Maryland Historical Society.
