Interview With Author Iris Willson
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I write contemporary romance novels that contain a mixture of emotions and excitement plus a whole lot of sexiness.
Born in Germany with a love for outdoor sports, travel and adventure, I’ve lived in several different countries, like Brazil and Australia and worked in a number of different jobs, including on a super yacht, on a sheep farm and at a vineyard.
You will find some of my adventures in my stories.
In 2018, love brought me to the United States.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The name of my first book is “Billionaire’s Desire” and takes place on a super yacht. I actualy worked on one myself. And even met my husband on a boat.
Book number two “Billionaire’s Fantasy” revolves around a pilot. If I have not mentioned it, I love pilots, no wonder my husband is one.
“Enemy Billionaire Protector” plays in a cabin in the woods. I used my parents cabin in Germany as a backdrop.
I can continue like that for hours. But let me cut it short, each book has something personal.
Until today I have 5 books published.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I would consider myself more of an early bird, but for some reason, I seem to have more ideas for my stories at night.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Nicole Snow and Melanie Harlow for sure. OMG and T.L. Swan I listened to “The Stopover” on a road trip with my husband *haha
What are you working on now?
My December release is all about a hot single-dad doctor and his nanny. It will be my best book so far! Maybe a bestseller. It is so hot and full of suspense.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I have not found one yet. I’m playing around with Facebook ads, but not successful yet. Happy for all the tips!
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Just do it!
It is fun and fulfilling.
It is not easy, and I’m still in the red after 5 books.
Don’t plan on becoming rich 🙂
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Do more of what you like.

What’s next for you as a writer?
Grow my following and hopefully start making some money, so I CAN DO MORE OF WHAT I LIKE!
