Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m Isabelle Nations and I created Zentopia Designs so I and others could produce creative & fun content. I primarily focuses on puzzles books, my specialty being rebus puzzles. I done around 9 books but others at Zentopia Designs have done others.
Other than that, I have a very spoiled dog. I love to travel but don’t get to as much as I would like. I love animals & random facts. I also hate talking about myself, which probably makes for a horrible interview.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My most recent book is “My Big Book of Scavenger Hunts”. At a recent family gathering, I was about to go insane being stuck in front of the TV with my niece and 2 nephews. I ended up creating scavenger hunts (little did I know that once I started this game, this is what I would be doing the rest of the gathering). However, this did spark the idea for this book. My family sure did have a blast!
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I don’t think so but I’m quirky so I can’t be sure.
What are you working on now?
Possibly another Rebus categories book or something to be decided upon.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I use twitter a lot but my good friend says I need help when it comes to promotions. So….
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t be afraid to try. And save your files in multiple places.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
