Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Everlasing is my first published novel and I am in the process of editing the sequel. The third book in the series is also in the works. I am a stay at home mom to a beautiful 1 and a half year old and I write as much as she will let me.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Everlasting was inspired but the simplest of questions: how could one not go insane by constantly reading other people’s minds? To find out the answer go read the book.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I love to honor people who mean a lot to me in my books. My favorite choir teacher for instance is mentioned many times.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Richelle Mead and her Vampire Academy series inspires me every day. Rose is such a strong and powerful character.
What are you working on now?
The third book in the Eternal Series still has a long way to go, but with any luck you will have the answers you are looking for within the next year or two.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Honestly, my favorite method is free days. I’m not in this for the money I just want people to love these characters and books as much as I do.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write whatever you want to write and never let anyone tell you different. I don’t care if a story has been done a million times nobody will write the way you will. Don’t let something as easy as offending someone stop you either. Write from the heart.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Believe in yourself because if you don’t nobody else will.
What are you reading now?
Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas and I’m loving it!
What’s next for you as a writer?
I’m going to get Eternal Series number 2 published and make a lot of people really happy.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Any and all Vampire Academy books but if I had to choose just one then Last Sacrifice.
Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian
City of Glass
And a classic Pride and Prejudice
Boy, that was not easy there are so many amazing books!
