About Jairus’s Girl by L R Hay
“Funny, imaginative and moving” kids’-eye view of the Jesus story, from Galilee right through to Easter, with the children as the main characters! Aimed at 8-12s, though some adults have sneakily read and enjoyed it too.
Tammie’s life in a quiet fishing town would never be the same. Her future wasn’t looking good (*understatement!*) but things quickly went from bad to WICKED with the arrival of a strange grown-up with nice eyes.
And as for the business with Daniel’s lunch, or Dibs’s roof…
Jairus’s Girl will be on sale at $2.99 (usually $3.99) for the whole month leading up to Easter, 2023

Author Bio:
Lynn Robertson Hay's writing covers TV, film, audio and theatre, winning a Writers' Guild award with one script. Jared Harris (CHERNOBYL, SHERLOCK HOLMES, THE CROWN etc) and Nicholas Hamilton (IT, CAPTAIN FANTASTIC and so on) star in her co-written screenplay BRAVE THE DARK. Lynn has written 6 episodes of DOCTORS for BBC 1, and recently started working with a very different Doctor, entering the Whoniverse with audio plays for Big Finish. A script of hers was selected out of nearly 3,000 for crowd-created, record-breaking feature film THE IMPACT.
As an actor, Lynn has played parts ranging from Lady Macbeth to Mole and Puck to Miss Prism. Within the last few years she’s been seen wielding a rolling pin as Flo Capp in ANDY CAPP – THE MUSICAL, made her West End debut understudying the mighty Stockard Channing in APOLOGIA and going on in that amazing lead role numerous times, and appeared in season 3 of crime drama UNFORGOTTEN for ITV.
Her one-woman show has played a variety of venues in the UK, US and elsewhere, including the only part of Glastonbury Abbey still standing (not her fault).
Lynn's claim to fame is that she once won an episode of TV quiz show FIFTEEN TO ONE.
