Interview With Author Jameil’a Mitchell
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a 19 year old entrepreneur who has been reading and writing poetry and books since I was in Kindergarden. I used to speak at oratoricals and even won the Black History Bee in 5th Grade where I had to memorize up to 25 poems and speak them. For me writing has always come easy and I knew I would be an author one day, but to really say it now is one of the most fulfilling feelings I could ever imagine and it is just the beginning. Currently I have only written one book.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
I have only written and published one poetry book called Nourishment For The Soul: A Poetic Cultivation. I wrote this book of 23 poems over the spand of 4 months and I knew it was time to unleash this power into the world. My inspiration was the knowledge of self and God I’ve obtained recently. I knew I could no longer be silenced so I decided to write in the most creative way I could think and publish it to the world.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
