Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m a writer/director of independent feature films, and teach at USC. This is my first published book.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
“How To Make a Feature Film For Under 25K.”
The inspiration came from meeting so many students and young filmmakers who want to know how to make their first feature film for very little money. I made my first film for a very meager budget, starting my own production company, and raising the funds myself – so I know what it takes and how to get it done.

What authors, or books have influenced you?
