Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a personal development coach and I teach and support people in overcoming difficult changes in life, like quitting a job and finding their passion, getting over fear and anxiety, etc. I am a retired Special Forces officer and been coaching people since then. I use breathing and mindfulness as the core instruments in order to make every change pleasurable. This is my first book!
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is called The Transition Manual – Successful Integration After Military Service Into Functional Civilian Life.
There is a stirring number of retired soldiers and veterans who are struggling with integration in civilian life. Relationship difficulties, emotional problems, financial insecurities, and many other concerns after leaving the military. I had it all of this after retirement but I was working hard on doing the inner work and cleared my mind and emotions. Many soldiers find themselves in addictions or homeless just because their minds can’t adapt to the new environment. I wrote this book to inspire and empower them so they could go through this process much easier and enjoy the new life.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I do all the mind mapping and then I do deep breathing exercises to expand my consciousness and details would start to come up more easily.
