Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Jason Carlisle is a Scottish-born writer and communications strategist based in Dubai. As Director of Public Relations at Bond & Vale, he has spent years weaponizing language in boardrooms and newsrooms alike. Carlisle’s work dismantles the polite illusions of modern PR, exposing how algorithms, attention, and narrative warfare really function. Electric Narratives is his second book, a brutal field manual for those who refuse to play by the old rules.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Electric Narratives: The Brutal Truth About PR, Algorithms, And Attention. As Director of Bond and Vale – an innovative PR firm based in Dubai – I have witnessed first-hand many of the principles explored in this book. I believe PR is due for a revision in the AI era and this is my proposed blueprint

Many… But none I am willing to disclose publicly

Anything by Dostoevsky or Robert Greene
What are you working on now?
I am currently working on Electric Toolkit. If Electric Narratives is the manifesto – Electric Toolkit is the practical handbook

Lower your expectations, but be persistent
