Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I love helping women create the body they want to live in and the live they want to lead.
So, I wrote my first book, ‘Fit & Fab Forever in 90 Days,’. It has started a fire in me to get more done and my next book in already in the pipeline
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Fit & Fab Forever in 90 Days: Fitness & Weight Management Tips, Tricks & Secrets every professional woman over 40 can start today!
I think the title says it all…
As a woman in her 50’s I think it’s so important to see your health as a wealth we can not afford to be careless with. I encourage women to create the body they want to live in and the life they want to lead.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I talk to myself all the time whilst I’m writing, especially whilst I am in the car! I find that if I say it out load, it makes my writing sound like me.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I love biographies such as Michelle Obama – Becoming. These books are right from the heart and you can hear the real voice of the author.
I also love books on fitness, healthy eating and pro-aging.
My fiction books range from Patricia Cornwell to Jojo Moyes
What are you working on now?
I’m currently working on two projects, One is a Myths and mistakes of weight loss.
The other is taking me into the realms of children’s books.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Besides using my own promotion, Amazon and book launches, I have just started on the book promotion trail and I wish I had joined you all sooner!
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Do your research! No book sells itself unless you are a well know author & or and award winning author. Books need promotion and if they are not being seen, then they will not be bought.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Just start writing…

What are you reading now?
Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan was a joy, so I have just read the sequels, China Rich Girlfriend & Rich People problems. That was a great collection
What’s next for you as a writer?
I have my follow up to Fit & Fab Forever in 90 Days, which will help dismiss some of those myths & mistakes women make when it comes to fitness, weight loss & dieting.
I have started the research and characters for my children’s books series, which I am really exited about.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Agatha Christie collection, She started my interest in books and crime style novels from primary school age and these have progressed to my Patricia Cornwell books. If I have to choose just one of these, it would be ‘Death on the River Nile’
Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, because I never get chance to finish it in the real world.
Nicholas Nickleby by Charles Dickens – a classic
