Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I love to travel and read. I have been to strange lands, met stranger people, known the strangest things. Every experience had helped me expand my mental horizons. But there will always be things that will be beyond our comprehension. They will always be things that would scare us.
But if you see closely, there is nothing more powerful than love itself. I want to tell these facts
Not First Love is my first book of fiction. I would not say I wrote this book but rather created the story. Writing a story is a creation from my heart.
Although I have written many articles on the topics I am gradually bringing to light in this book, it is my pleasure to present it in a story form. There are many things unknown in our world which influence us in a subtle manner, be it good or bad. Through my books, I am glad to make the reader familiar with these wonderful happenings and believe in their inner goodness.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
I loved creating Not First Love. In this book, there are two stories, a sweet romantic one and another running parallel to it, which is more dark and mysterious.
An individual has many facets which are usually not apparent to us. An normal incident has hundreds of other factors playing into it. On one side there is the simple romance in the life of a man and woman. On the other more complex side, there are past lives, dimensions, dark entities to create chaos and good ones to protect. Whether we know or agree it does not matter. The alternate reality happens to all of us.
Arthur and Jan are not only the protagonists of this story – for me they are as alive as myself. In my imagination. Perhaps they truly exist in another dimension. They live in my heart. Their love gives me hope.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I may not say unusual but I usually write my stories in a fast paced manner. The good and bad point of this is the book tends to get shorter and more crisp but it may disappoint someone who is looking for more page numbers in a book. If you are looking for a good story, you will be pleased. I like to put facts in subtly, like there is a story behind the story. So if you look closely, you will find another facet of the story that you are reading.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I read way too many books. However, I like the way Ayn Rand gets to the depth of the characters and make them almost real.
The characters in my stories are perhaps the most important thing for me. I like to have them deep feelings. Portraying the difference in superficiality and deep human emotions brings out a reality we live in.
What are you working on now?
The sequel to Not First Love. The first part is like I said, the apparent love story. What is happening beyond the apparent, the parts we do not see in our lives but which have more influence over our present decisions. All this will be covered in the next part and this one is going to be a longer and more serious book than the first one.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I generally use social network and KDP Select tools to promote my books.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
There are many avenues which have not been explored. I would suggest them to find such areas of interest which matches with their truth and passion to create stories. I believe in creation rather than simply writing a story.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Imagination is everything.
What are you reading now?
Presently I am reading non fiction books mainly written by Maxwell Maltz and Dolores Cannon.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I have 3 more books lined up for the next couple of years.
