Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m a Filipino Civil Engineer and have written three books. My first book, “Debunking Misconceptions About Catholicism – A Layman’s Defense”, went to number 4 at Amazon’s Best Seller list in category Roman Catholicism (Kindle Books). My second book is “The Lord’s Perfect Daily Prayer – Every Word Counts” and my latest book “Trip to Hell and Heaven,” a science fiction fantasy, is an entry to the Kindle Storyteller Award 2019.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book, “Trip to Hell and Heaven,” a science fiction fantasyadventure, was inspired by my fascination with time and space travel.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write early in the morning, around four A.M., when my mind is still fresh, and full of new ideas for my book. During the day, I take notes when ideas keep pouring in, and include them in the outlines for the latest book I am writing.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I love spy thrillers and I’ve read all the James Bond novels of Ian Fleming. Robert Ludlum and Jeffrey Archer also influenced me a lot. I like novels that are fast faced and full of twists.
What are you working on now?
I am working on the two sequels to “Trip to Hell and Heaven” so I can submit them to the Amazon KDP Pen to Publish 2019 contest and publish them before the December 14, 2019 deadline.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I promote my books on social media and book promotion websites like Bargain Booksy.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
My advice for new authors is not to give up and just have fun writing whatever they love and never thinking about sales.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
The best advice is to continue writing and writing as long as ideas for new books come to mind.
What are you reading now?
I am not reading anything right now as I am engrossed in finishing my two new novels.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I’m planning to write suspense thrillers perhps by early next year and eplore the crime genre.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The first book would be the Bible, and bring a couple of Ian Fleming books.
