Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Jodie Rose is actually two people! Jodie and Rose. They both good friends who enjoy writing and what started as writing stories for fun together, turned into a book! As of right now, only one has been written but with have nine more planned and some short stories.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Soul Fire is our first book, the book was inspired by a short story we wrote together!
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Not that I can think of 😉
What authors, or books have influenced you?
JR Ward, Rachel Vincent, Diane Henders are all authors we find inspiration from!
What are you working on now?
Book two to Keepers of the City and book one of Demons of the City!
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Right now, it’s been through word of mouth because we’re still so new!
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Do it! It’s going to be hard, you’re going to get frustrated but I PROMISE once you hold that book in your hands, it’s all going to be worth it. Don’t let anyone ever tell you that you can’t do this!
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Believe in myself!
What are you reading now?
Jodie is reading book five of the Black Dagger Brotherhood and Rose is reading the Dark Tower series!
What’s next for you as a writer?
We’re going to keep going with this series! We have several trilogies planned.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Anything by JR Ward or Christopher Moore…Jodi Picoult… man…three or four is really hard. Lamb by Christopher Moore is certainly one.
