Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am an Australian author who writes comedy with a dash of mystery (or vice-versa). I have written 11 novels and three collections of short humour. My main series (is the Windy Mountain series based in Tasmania. Seven books and growing.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Who Knew Tiger Sharks also eat Apples? Inspired by post-pandemic, pinks toilets and runaway sharks.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
No one must know about the tea cozy I wear on my head when I’m writing.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Joseph Heller, Tom Sharpe, Colin Bateman, Carl Hiassen, Derek Hansen, John Mortimer, Nino Culotti, Roddy Doyle, Elmore Leonard, Jonas Johannson and Fredrik Backman.
What are you working on now?
The Life and Deaths of Billy Gumboots (book seven in the Windy Mountain series.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Find your own path because we’re all different. Personally, I hate templates and formulas but they work for others.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Don’t take readers out of the bubble you create for them by making silly grammatical or factual errors.
What are you reading now?
The Echo Chamber by John Boyne.
What’s next for you as a writer?
more books. Two or three a year.
