Interview With Author Johnson Solomon
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
My name is Johnson Solomon. I am a writer with a passion for sharing encouragement, clarity, and hope through words. This is my first published book, and it represents a beginning of what I believe will be many more works to come.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My book is Rails of Purpose. It was inspired by a desire to help people navigate life’s journey with direction, purpose, and faith, even when the path seems unclear.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I find that my best writing often comes during quiet, reflective moments—sometimes late at night or after prayer. I also like to jot down sudden thoughts or ideas wherever I am so I don’t lose them.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I’ve been influenced by Christian and inspirational authors like Max Lucado and Joyce Meyer, whose works blend encouragement with wisdom. Their writing showed me how books can truly change lives.
What are you working on now?
At the moment, I’m focused on sharing my debut book with as many readers as possible. I also have ideas for future projects that will continue to inspire and guide readers.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
’ve found Amazon promotions, Goodreads, and book promotion sites like Awesome Gang to be effective. Social media communities and word of mouth have also helped me connect with readers.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write boldly and don’t wait for everything to be perfect before you publish. Your story or message may be the encouragement someone desperately needs.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“Even if your book only touches one life, it has already made an impact.” That motivates me to keep writing.
What are you reading now?
’m currently reading devotionals and inspirational nonfiction books that strengthen faith and provide new insights for life’s challenges.
What’s next for you as a writer?
plan to continue writing books that uplift and inspire. My goal is to build a collection of works that people can return to whenever they need encouragement.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The Bible
In the Grip of Grace by Max Lucado
Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer
