Jordan Altman is a Geologist who has worked from the Land of the Midnight Sun to the Canadian Shield. Recently taking up creative writing, his adventures within reality are now being matched by those of his imagination.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Shaman’s Carving, a novella inspired by the world of magic.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I love to listen to video game soundtracks as I write.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
H.P. Lovecraft, Stephen King, and Tolkien to name but a few.
What are you working on now?
A new dark fantasy story in deep pov.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Why this one of course!
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Practice makes perfect. So keep writing!
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
The first draft of anything is sh*t! – Hemingway
So don’t get discouraged.
What are you reading now?
Watership Down… yes, the one with the bunnies 🙂
What’s next for you as a writer?
To keep on writing till my hands fall off!
