Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have two books currently. The Starhawk Chronicles, published through Burning Willow Press, and Other Worlds: A Collection of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Epic Silliness, self-published through Amazon. Book II of The Starhawk Chronicles will be released this October through BWP.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Starhawk Chronicles: Rest and WRECK-reation. It is the second book in the Starhawk Chronicles series. I wanted to take the characters on a different kind of adventure, and a trip to Las Vegas while I was writing the first book gave me the inspiration I needed.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Nothing I would call unusual. The requisite cup of coffee or tea while writing which I think is the staple of any author.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Grew up loving Mark Twain. Timothy Zahn, Dean Koontz, and Clive Cussler are favorites.
What are you working on now?
Book III of The Starhawk Chronicles, subtitled Rightful Heir. Also a few other works in progress.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Posting in any book-related Facebook group. I have a tendency to make silly, sci-fi related memes to get peoples attention
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Just. Keep. Writing.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Not advice, but as a Sophomore in high school, my English teacher said she believed I had a future as a writer. I’ve held on to that for over 30 years

An old favorite fantasy novel, Dragons of Autumn Twilight
What’s next for you as a writer?
Just to continue to write and keep getting published
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Walt Disney: An American Original, by Bob Thomas, Timothy Zahn’s Star Wars: Heir to the Empire trilogy, The Hobbit by Tolkien, 1776 by David McCullough
