Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a personal trainer and writer, although this is my first published book. I have been using running and working out as powerful tools to heal my mind and body. I use exercise to fight anxiety and depression successfully and drug free. I understand how it feels to be trapped inside a mind that is sabotaging you. My goal is to help as many people as possible begin to believe in themselves so that they can reach their fitness and other personal goals.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The 30-Day Cast-Away Program – I was inspired to write this by watching so many women with immense potential derail themselves from their fitness and life goals through second guessing, limiting beliefs and fear of failure. My book offers free methods of meditation, visualization and other mental tips and tricks to help people believe in themselves, then take the physical action they need to in order to smash their goals!
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write very much in an engaging and conversational tone, which I believe draws people in and helps them understand my message.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I love Tony Robbins and other similar writers, those who try to inspire and lift up others.
What are you working on now?
I am working on the sequel to this book -the top 50 fitness habits that you can learn and use to achieve success.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I mainly promote the book via my youtube channel and FB page.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Try not to get discouraged. It takes months and months to go through this process, then to see success. Don’t give up.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Don’t be afraid to fail. The most successful people in the world all failed miserably multiple times before they achieved success. Failure is good.
What are you reading now?
I am reading THE WINTER PALACE – it’s excellent. I love historical fiction.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Building up my channel and selling my book, writing my second book, and looking for other niches to fill in the fitness world.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
probably a huge dictionary so I could learn more words, the bible, Charles Bukowski’s Ham on Rye, and The Other Boleyn Girl by Phillipa Greggory.
