Author Bio:
M.P. Anderfeldt writes stories that haunt. Not in the jump-scare sense—more the 3 a.m. realization that you're still thinking about characters who don't technically exist.
He works from wherever he happens to be. London. Munich. Barcelona. A small town in China where the coffee tastes like regret but the food is the best in the world (probably).
Cats interrupt his work. They believe they're helping. They're not, but arguing with cats is a losing game.
After studying in Germany and Spain—because apparently fluency in self-doubt required multiple languages—he's published traditionally (Droemer Knaur) and independently. Same goal, different distribution channels: write books that refuse to be ignored. Stories that ask questions and then sit back, waiting to see if you're brave enough to answer honestly.
His German novels are finding English now. Slowly. Translation requires patience. So does figuring out whether "brilliant" sounds too British or "awesome" too Californian. American English is its own particular beast.
He runs. Travels. Writes. Not always in that order. Sometimes all three simultaneously, which explains a lot.
