Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
So far I’ve written a total of three books. I’m starting to get the hang of it, and as of now my books tend to be short reads.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is Empowerment Mindset. I wrote it because I have often found some people lack passion and motivation in life. I consider myself a highly motivated person, and I always strive to do what I can and to gradually improve myself day by day.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write in sprints. I try to write for as long a period of time as I can until each project is completely finished. I’m still new to writing so if there are any good habits to have I’m open to hearing from your audience about it!
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Stephen King’s On Writing has influenced me a bit. Also, Stefan James from Project Life Mastery has highly influenced me. My goal is to write at least one bestseller in the Kindle store. I might try out publishing physical books as well, but I’m still learning.
What are you working on now?
Currently I’m working on a book titled Self Improvement Mastery. It’s all about improving oneself day by day.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Honestly, my books so far have not gotten much publicity. I’m hoping that’ll change! I’m going to try promoting it on as many free platforms as possible since I’m a one-woman show at the moment and have a limited budget.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write! Just do it. Start, and don’t stop until you can’t think of what to write anymore. If you do hit the dreaded wall, maybe try free writing or brainstorming.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Time is more valuable than money. At the end of the day, the time we have in our lives is our most valuable asset we have.
What are you reading now?
Currently I’m reading Financial Freedom by Grant Sabatieur. I’m very influenced by the FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) movement as well as the book Rich Dad Poor Dad. I’d like to learn how to become a better entrepreneur and author, and my goal is to be able to do this full time.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Write, write, write. And promote my books of course! I’m doing my best to learn about marketing and how to promote my books as an independent self-published author.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. It’s my favorite book of all time.
