Interview With Author KAT MURDOCK
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Kat Murdock is an Australian mother of three, a business owner, a farmer, a horse whisperer, a sports coach, an entrepreneur, and now an author.
Behind all this, she has been sad lonely lost, invisible, burnt out, hurt, and at the bottom of a confusing dark hole for most of her life. Times were tough, and as most women do, we play many roles and rarely have the time or the knowledge to really get to know ourselves.
Kat couldn’t afford counselors or psychologists and living rurally would have put her on a country mile-long wait list anyway. At her lowest, she was quiet, without words to describe how she felt, especially to another person. Like many of us where do you start? Kat embarked on her own Self Improvement journey by educating herself by writing, listening, and moving her body.
She is now beautifully happy with her life and wants to show women how to really find a home in their own souls and be authentic. Kat Murdock has filtered the best of the information out there into a concise one-day workbook for powerful change and guidance. Even now she wouldn’t describe herself as depressed or anxious or menopausal. Kat suffered from lining up for things, being the “yes” girl, and accepting people in her team that had no right to be there.
Honest, powerful, kind, and with a lot of love to share this authentic woman has realized the need for a steppingstone between despair and professional services. She doesn’t want women to waste precious time like she did, for suicide rates to continue rising or for domestic violence to continue. Kats workbook is the tool that women need to identify if it’s a black dog day or just a black cat day where you can love and lift yourself out of the dark hole.
