Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Kingpen has been writing music, poetry, and freelance social justice / human rights articles for various publications for over a decade. Years in the spotlight as a model and public figure have given Kita Reign a unique perspective through which she writes short stories, novellas, and screen plays. We have been close friends since college.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Our latest book is titled “The Check Game.” The idea for the plot actually came from a woman Kingpen knew who was incarcerated for committing bank fraud.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Yes, we tend to place emphasis on a lot of words as if we’re verbally speaking them.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Our writing style is influenced by authors such as Eric Jerome Dickey, Noire, Zane, Omar Tyree, Sister Souljah, Suzanne Collins, Terry Goodkind, and James Patterson.
What are you working on now?

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
We are still learning promotion techniques.

“The pen is mightier than the sword.”
