About Author
Kiyoshi Terrell Fish was born in Youngstown, Ohio. He is one of 14 brothers and sisters and his parents have been married for almost 50 years. He moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2002 and holds an associate’s degree from Kent State University, a Bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University and a Master’s in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. He still lives in Phoenix, with his wife, and two daughters.
Kiyoshi currently works as a social worker with the Department of Child Safety and owns two businesses; Sports Unlimited Services, LLC, which helps student-athletes obtain college scholarships and a Sports Agency called Unlimited Sports and Entertainment, in which he acts as a scout and agent for professional athletes.
Kiyoshi’s favorite quote is “as you travel the highway of life, face the future with confidence and appreciate everyone that comes across your path in life, because everybody is somebody that somehow plays a part in your purpose here on earth.” This quote has played a part in the book that Kiyoshi has written, called Highway of Life, which is a self-help title aimed at helping people find their purpose and guide them on life’s journey.
When he has time to relax, Kiyoshi likes spending plenty of time with his family. He also has an eclectic range of interests, from planting flowers and playing chess, to watching sports and playing video games.
He also believes in charity and giving something back to individuals and communities who are less fortunate and his company helped to sponsor the “Zuris Circle Feed the Community Event” which does exactly that.
In the future, Kiyoshi’s hopes are to write more books and watch his children grow into responsible young women. He also dreams of traveling around the United States in an RV when he retires and plans to become a full-time Agent in all sports.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Battlefield of the mind, by Joyce Meyers. This book showed me for the first time how important the mind plays in how we live our lives. The mind is where our thoughts begin and end.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I usually write late at night. The night time for me is very relaxing, and I find that a lot of thoughts come to me during the night. I love peace and quiet.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
The bible is the book that I will never stop reading and I constantly use it on a daily basis. Dr. Myles Munroe is another author that influenced me. His books inspired me to look into the concept of “purpose” and the meaning of it. I also am a big fan of TD Jakes, Joyce Meyers, and Stephen King
What are you working on now?
I am working on a book called, “Let’s Chance it”. This book is about a couple who has experienced the worst in life, and came together to make big things happen. This book will deal with a lot of societal issues currently present, for example, racial relations, etc. It’s a work in progress.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I found out that create a space has been very helpful. Writing your book is one thing, promoting it is even more work. Trusting the process is key.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
If you want to write a book, write something you feel passionate about. Writing from passion makes the writing, or message even more clearer. Also, write something that you are comfortable with.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“Aim for the moon, and if you fail, you will still be amongst the stars”. This has taught me to work hard, and set goals. Each and every day is a chance to be better.
What are you reading now?
Reflections of my Higher self, by Joseph Danna. The book was excellent!
What’s next for you as a writer?
I plan to continue getting word out about, “The Highway of Life”, and also start working on my next project, “Let’s chance it”.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
1) bible,
2) How To win Friends and IInfluence People, by Dale Carnegie
3) The Purpose-Driven Life by Rick Warren
