I am an international speaker, entrepreneur, artist, philanthropist, and mother of 2 kids. As a co-founder of Mindvalley, a leading publisher in the personal growth industry, I dedicated the last 20 years of my career to the personal growth and transformation industry.
Becoming Flawesome is my first book but I do plan to write more.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Becoming Flawesome: The Key to Living an Imperfectly Authentic Life
My book was inspired by my work and my life.
Despite it’s good intentions the personal development industry has a dark side as well, being in this industry for over 20 years I can definitely shed some light on it using my life story as an example.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
While writing this book I realized that I like to crate my own words and punctuation.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I love fiction, my favorite authors would be J.R.R. Tolkien, Lewis Carroll, M. Bulgakov to name a few.
What are you working on now?
I am currently busy with my book launch which is on July 10, 2023 but I plant to start writing my second book by the end of the year.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
As this is my first book I don’t really know much about promoting part, so I totally rely on my publisher, Hay House, to deal with this side of work.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
I can only give advice to people who write books because they’re writers and writing, is there a natural form of self-expression –
Ask yourself, why exactly you are doing it. It’s incredibly important. You really have to understand why you’re doing this. And depending on that, you will choose your weighting path.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Life is too important to be taken seriously. O.Wilde
What are you reading now?
Charles Dickens’ “David Copperfield”.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I already have an idea for my second book which I hope to start wrighting at the end of the year after I finish my book tour.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
A Ii said before, I love fiction, so it will be something by one of my favorite authors or probably a book on psychology, I love this topic as well.
