Interview With Author Kutaiba Hamish
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
My name is Kutaiba Hamish. I’m passionate about health, wellness, and helping others improve their lifestyles through simple, realistic changes. Your Guide to Healthy Eating is my first book, and it’s the beginning of a journey I hope will empower many readers toward better living
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
> My latest book is Your Guide to Healthy Eating. It was inspired by the confusion many people face when trying to eat better. I wanted to create a short, practical guide that clears the noise and shows readers how to eat smart without stress.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
> I usually write early in the morning, with a cup of tea and some peaceful background music. I also like to jot down ideas by hand before turning them into structured chapters.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
> Authors like Michael Pollan, Mark Hyman, and even James Clear have greatly influenced how I view health and habit formation. Their ability to simplify complex topics inspired my writing style.
What are you working on now?
I’m currently working on a follow-up book about meal planning and building weekly routines for a healthy lifestyle. It’s designed to complement the current book with actionable strategies.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
So far, I’ve found Facebook groups, Instagram, and free book listing websites like AwesomeGang and Freebooksy to be very effective, especially when paired with Kindle’s promotional tools.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t wait to feel ready—start writing now. Focus on adding value, and let your passion guide you. And don’t worry about perfection in the first draft; just get your thoughts down
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“Start before you’re ready.” It reminds me that action beats hesitation every time.
What are you reading now?
I’m currently reading Atomic Habits by James Clear — it’s a great book about how small changes can lead to big results.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I plan to build a series of short, impactful guides around personal wellness, freelancing, and productivity—all based on practical tools and simple habits.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
How Not to Die by Dr. Michael Greger
Deep Work by Cal Newport
Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl
The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle
