Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
My name is L.J. Winters, and I have two books out currently, and one ready to be published this month.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book Soul Scavengers – Superstitious Feelings, was inspired by the first two of the same series. I love paranormal investigations and romance, and thought it would make a great story to combine the two!
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I love writing as if I’m watching a movie or TV. The POV hops around a bit, but it’s never confusing. I want all perspectives when reading a book, so I don’t get all bothered when I see a little head hopping. It’s my style, and I realize sometimes that irritates some readers. 😉
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Kathleen Woodiwiss, &Nora Roberts were great inspirations! I loved to get lost in the stories these talented ladies created. They gave me the urge to put pen to paper and start my writing career.
What are you working on now?
I am working on another possible series, called Don’t Lose Hope. It’s about a bush pilot and a woman he knew from the past. Hopefully I’ll have that ready to go by the summer!
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I like Goodreads, but Facebook is awesome as well. I also use another romance bogger’s site, Promo Star Services.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Keep writing! There is always room for improvement, and the best way to learn is to make a lot of mistakes.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Pay it forward!

Finding Keepers, by L.D. Doornbosch.
What’s next for you as a writer?
More Soul Scavengers, maybe creating a series out of Don’t Lose Hope,and another stand alone romance I have on the back burner.
