Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I grew up thinking reading was a chore, but one day in my 30’s I picked up a book, read it, enjoyed it, and continued to finish the four book series. After a decade of reading I decided to give writing a try. I’m not an award winning author, but I have stories to tell. I’ve written 13 books under two different pen names, and participated in a few anthologies.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Salty Beaches, it’s a sporty college age tale with new adult angst, promiscuity, and college life. I’ve spent the last two decades on soccer fields with my children, and began writing this when my own daughter was away at college. So I combined the two worlds into one and Salty Beaches is the result.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I need complete silence, and I dim the lights. Helps me to focus.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Every book I’ve ever picked up and read, it’s not just one book or one author. It’s the whole world of fiction.
What are you working on now?
I’m in an anthology for the Sexy and Sassy book signing, which I’ll be attending next summer in July 2018 at the Norfolk waterfront. Here’s the link to add to your TBR list:

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I announce it on all of my social media sites, and my newsletter. Then look for free ads, and once a month I utilize paid ads where they advertise my on their website, and newsletter. The paid ads usually work best.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write a little every day, and don’t stop reading.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Try, try and try again.
What are you reading now?
Her Devoted Hero, by Caitlyn O’Leary. I’m a sucker for Navy SEAL’s.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I have a paranormal novella series that I’m finishing up with alternate endings. I couldn’t decide on just one!
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
I’d grab something from my TBR list with five stars, a book of inspirations to keep my morale up, Gone with the Wind, and some kind of romance anthology.
