Interview With Author LaToya Lawrence
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have written and published twenty-six books all together and their are many more on the way.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest publication is titled “Dude”. I was just inspired by natural creative energy.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
No. Nothing that is out of the ordinary when it comes to my own way of doing things.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
None.
What are you working on now?
I am working on a thriller with a dark Supernatural touch to it. I am thinking about developing it into a series of affiliated storybook novels aside from other standalone projects that I am working on.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I cannot say one in particular as it sometimes depends on luck, chance, and interest.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t ever let anyone or anything discourage you in your pursuits if writing is the path that is really meant for you.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Nothing in particular comes to mind. I am usually good at judging which directions to take and advising myself with inspiring thoughts that stem from wisdom.
What are you reading now?
I just finished reading a book a day ago, I have to look in my library and decide what to read next when I am unoccupied.
What’s next for you as a writer?
More and more books to publish!
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
If I knew I were going to be stranded on a desert island I would avoid placing myself in the predicament ahead of time.
