Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am an Australian author and public speaker, travelling to as many corners of the globe as possible to inspire motivated citizens to embrace new and inventive ways to create a better world. My latest book, Cutting-Edge Ideas, is part of a grassroots revolutionary movement.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Cutting-Edge Ideas: Empowering Agents of Positive World Change has been written to expand humanity’s capacity to envision and generate widescale social and cultural transformation.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Music keeps me amped! My book trailer features ‘White Horses’ by Sash Seabourne and ‘Ride Forever’ by Malachy.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
David Suzuki – environmental theory (Time to Change).
Tyson Yunkaporta – Indigenous knowledges (Sand Talk).
Richard Slaughter – Futures-based educational theory.
Carl Jung & F. David Peat – revelatory information on synchronicities.
What are you working on now?
Long-term touring in order to introduce people to a wide range of effective strategies that will help them bring greater forms of unity, equity, peace, justice, and environmental sustainability to the planet.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Live author talks – connecting with diverse members of the wider community.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
1. Identify your greater cause.
2. Research extensively.
3. Write something that is truly important and will help make a positive difference in the world.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Follow the energy.
