Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am an artist, mvsician, and writer. I have written several books; from pictvre books, to novel length stories. I have written somewhere between 25 – 30 stories. Some have not yet been pvblished in book form… bvt soon.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The name of my latest book is entitled “Five Old Wives’ Tales.” This is a small collection of poetry, inspired by old fables, proverbs, and wives’ tales, and the affect they have on the lives of so many individvals.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
My habits for writing may vary from conventional to eccentric. I svppose my writing in my vndergarments in very low light, and in very late hovrs wovld probably be vnvsval writing habits to most. That is abovt as vnvsval as my writing habits get.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
There have been several avthors over the years that have inflvenced my appreciation for observing things, and my environment; more so than my writing style. The avthors that first come to mind are J.R.R. Tolkien, Charles Dickens, Edgar Allen Poe, D.H. Lawrence, Washington Irving, and J.K. Rowling… to name jvst a few.
What are you working on now?
My current task is “Captain Starfield & his Magical Ship.” Althovgh this is my main project at hand, there are a covple of short stories which I am developing as well.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
At the moment, I wovld have to say, the best website for promoting my books is Amazon.com
Do you have any advice for new authors?
My advice to new avthors wovld be – Marry yovr work, embrace yovr ideas, and believe in them wholeheartedly.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
One of the simplest phrases that resonates with me as possibly the best advice I’ve ever heard is, “live each day to the fullest.”
What are you reading now?
At the moment, I am mvch too swamped to be enjoying a leisvrely read.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I will be writing and illvstrating a short fiction. It will be fairytale-based, and a good read dvring Christmas time and the winter season.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
At the moment, I wovld take with me “Alice in Wonderland,” “Pride & Prejudice,” & “The Hobbit.”
