Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I love horror and paranormal fiction and those are the kind of books I write. If you like twists and turns, a diverse cast, and stories out of the ordinary, my books are for you!
Other books include Hunting in Closed Spaces (The Marradith Ryder Series), The Art of Shadows, The Bell House, and Lazarus.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Blood Relations was inspired by a simple question: what do you do when you grew up with extreme beliefs? Do you stick with what you were taught, or disobey? Blood Relations explores the supernatural and what happens when believers chose to leave a cult.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
The weirdest thing about my writing habits are that I love to write at night. I usually work between 11:00PM and 6:00AM. I also tend to work on multiple projects at once.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Tananarive Due, Laini Taylor, Anne Rice, Stephen King.
What are you working on now?
I’m working on about three other projects, including a new novel called Soul Bonded.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Amazon
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Keep working on your craft. Learn what you can from your mistakes and apply that knowledge going forward.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Read as much as you can. Watch movies too, because these are all different ways that stories are told. Don’t be afraid to read within your genre but read outside of it too.
What are you reading now?
Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi
What’s next for you as a writer?
