Interview With Author Lowell Neely
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I retired in 2017 and in 2020 during the covid shut down I taught my grand children about the book of Revelation. From this experience I wrote three books. One is called “Understanding the Revelation” with a Bible study by the same name. I wrote a spin off book named “As in the Days of Noah” These books can be purchased on Amazon or down loaded on your nook.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My last book is called “As in the Days of Noah”. In order to understand this statement you have to understand both the book of Genesis and John’s Revelation. In order to understand Genesis you need to know what negative causes effected Noah’s generation. Then compare it to what is going wrong with our generation. I got inspired when I found out that Noah’s generation was having an increase in technology just like we are today. This book explains why both of these end time generations have the same escalation of technology.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
In both of my books, I awoke around three in the morning and while praying I got a guidance, that gave me a chatper to write. It took me about one or two weeks to write a chapter. I thought that my first book was a one and done. I was surprised when I wrote the second and third books.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Jesus, Moses, Paul, and Enouch were the main authors that influenced me. Understanding not only their writings but also their generational influences allows me to understand the future. I found John’s Revelations is actually a history book for the end time generation. This allows us to identify where we are in requards to our own future.
What are you working on now?
I have no future projects at this time.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I have only used my publishers advertiseing to promote my books and they haven’t been that successful to this point.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Bible and a copy of the ancient scrolls that the priest and Jesus studied from.
