Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I currently live in Northern Michigan. My hobbies consist of reading, writing and learnimg.
I also, love sports such as basketball along with combat sports like mma, jujitsu and Thai boxing. I have fought dozens of time in the ring, cage and overseas. I consider myself to be a new age and amateur explorer. I believe the whole world and each country to be beautiful and worth the effort of exploring each countries specific intrinsic beauty.
I have written 13 books. However, only 1 is published.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Confidence, Concentration and Your Fear Within An Introductory Guide to Overcoming Fear.
My inspiration partly came from my childhood and its many calamities and recent tragedies in my family and a dear friend. My dear friend was shot 5 times in Afghanistan jumping in front of another.
The other is my mother. Her husband and my step father was killed by a drunk driver blowing through a stop sign at 85 mph in a 25 limit. I wanted to offer some strength.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Lol yes, i do. If a piece of information is valuable enough and i do not have the time, i will write it on my arms.
I once stayed up for 2 days and ran out of space on my arms, so i used my face.
I do not like losing research. 🙂
What authors, or books have influenced you?
The bible first and foremost. The power of concentration, the art of war, The Ballad of Reading Gaol by Oscar Wilde. The Cross of Christ by John w. r. Stott. How to win friends and influence people- Carnegie.There are hundreds and possible thousands of other books also.
What are you working on now?
I am writing rhe second installment of my book on fear.
Also, i am getting my research together for a book on relationship dynamics and how to reach the highest level of love in marriage.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
When i finished my book i sat down and tried to compile a complete list of the type of readers my book should target specifically. After enough contemplation i still couldn’t find one.
My book should be read by everyone. The content applies to everyone under the sun, so the best method for me is word of mouth. A person simply needs to read it and they will understand.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Adopt a growth mindset. A growth mindset simply means to always seek the best information you can find when your stuck. And to never shrink away from a seemingly difficult task.
If you’re stuck, there are probably 1000 resources of info waiting for even the tiniest of problems.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
EVERYONE thinks their writing is garbage. You will likely feel the same way. Always remember it is a normal reaction and remember you must fight through those thoughts. Only will see your flaws not necessarily the reader. 🙂
What are you reading now?
I’m reading the cross of christ, yet again. The weaver. Battles of nations and how to win friends and influence people.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I want to leave my home behind and help others. I also, want to walk through europe and Asia writing about the worlds beauty. The people and the culture as well.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The bible, the cross of christ, the ballad of reading gaol and a survival guide. 😉
