Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have written quite a lot of books in the PNR/URBAN genres before 2015. I took a two year break and started my new line of books ENTER TOMORROW under M.Black. This line has Simulation, EXOTIQA, Quantum State, and Animal Graph, currently.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Animal graph was inspired by a dream and my love for wildlife and nature.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I love to relax in my bedroom and write on my bed or porch. I seem to not be able to focus as well if out in public, having too many distractions. I love tea.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Veronica Roth, J.K.Rowlings, Stephanie Meyer, Suzanne Collins, and Jane Austin.
What are you working on now?
Animal Graph, book 4. None of the books are in the public yet.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
I think you have to know this is a very tough business. And it is s business. It is a craft first and you have to be passionate about writing or don’t bother. But once the book is done, more work begins. 🙂 And a lot of rejection.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Don’t give up. Do what you love, because in the end you will have all those memories you love.
What are you reading now?
REBEL. I finished Recoil and Refuse. I read on my kindle and generally KU books. If I really love the book or have spoken with the author personally, I usually buy the print to go into my indie shelf. I focus on indie books, since they tend to be much more original and passionate than the formula books coming out of publishers.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I will be working on a robot book called ELECTRIC GARDENS and it will be released in 2018. I have 4 new worlds for sure for 2018.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Hunger Games, Divergent, Survival Guide for Dummies.
